Marino Institute of Education Presents "Tasters and Tours" Saturday, 13th of April 10.00 -2.0020/3/2024 Prospective students will have the opportunity to join one of the taster classes taking place on the day, to give them a flavour of what our courses entail and to get an insight into what it would be like to be a student in Marino Institute of Education (MIE). In addition to the taster classes, our student panel will speak about what life is like for students in MIE and to answer any questions prospective students may have.

The scholarship will award two students up to €20,000 for the duration of the degree programme (€5,000 per year) to support with fees and living expenses. The Coillte Scholarship programme aims to highlight forestry as a fulfilling career for both men and women and attract the foresters of the future into the sector. As a heavy vehicle mechanic apprentice, you will be trained to the very highest technical standards and will learn how to maintain all the systems in modern public service vehicles, including training on day-to-day repairs and preventative maintenance tasks, vehicle diagnostics/fault finding with some of the most advanced systems of its kind in place. Your apprenticeship comprises seven phases, three off-the-job as designated by SOLAS and four on-the job that take place with Bus Éireann and Dublin Bus.
