The deadline for applications for the professional diploma in Stage Management and Technical Theatre has been extended to the middle of June . This is a level 8 course with the qualification bestowed from Trinity College Dublin. It is a two year full time course and it is ideal for students who are interested in drama and in particular behind the stage in theatre. To date we have students who have trained on this course because they have an interest in lighting design, sound design, construction, costumes, making props, scenic art and of course stage management.
The applications are online, we do not go through the CAO system, we do ask that students meet matriculation set out by Trinity but otherwise all we ask for is at least six months experience (school plays, outdoor events, concerts, festivals, community theatre) and an enthusiasm for all thing theatre related.
