My name is Jenny Duffy and I am the GAA Development Officer in Maynooth University. I would like to introduce you to the Maynooth University GAA Scholarship Programme.
Maynooth University is currently the only University town in Ireland and hosts a magnificent campus based in North Kildare offering a wide range of academic undergraduate and postgraduate courses. An important aspect of my role as GAA officer is to identify and nurture GAA players and support these players to maximise their potential throughout their time here in Maynooth. MU GAA scholarships are awarded for GAA players that excel in their chosen GAA code including Hurling, Mens Football, Ladies Football and Camogie. I have attached our scholarship brochure, which illustrates all of the scholarship benefits included. Successful scholarship applicants are eligible for a maximum of 60 CAO points (limited number available for primary teaching course) and inclusive of a financial bursary. The minimum requirement to apply for the MU GAA scholarship is to represent your county at U17 grade upwards.
