DCU students will also be present to give guided tours of the Glasnevin campus to see accommodation facilities, lecture rooms, laboratories and sports facilities. The format for the day is as follows:
University of Twente will host its first Online Open Day for both Bachelor and Master programmes. From 10am to 5pm (CEST) on 16th May, prospective students will have the chance to virtually explore their campus, watch student videos, chat with the university. All courses will commence in September 2018.
All are welcome to attend. The college offers a range of one year QQI accredited courses in the areas of accounting, marketing, criminology, social studies, event management, applied psychology, multimedia and web design, business studies, human resources, media, law and international aid and development. In addition courses are offered in health sector studies, auctioneering, digital marketing, Chinese with business, community development, start your own business, EFL and TEFL. All courses include a work placement component. The college’s courses provide students with the knowledge and skills required to work in their chosen employment sector or to use the QQI award to progress to Higher Education. There will be lecturers and students on hand to discuss all aspects of the courses on offer as well as college life with those considering a future in architecture. As well as all three floors of the design studios being open to exploring, there will also be presentations by each course leader, who will offer an overview of their discipline in the Granary lecture theatre on the second floor. Kildalton also offers horticulture training at Levels 5 and 6.
