DKIT are running a new **FREE** online part-time Higher diploma in Science in 3D Computer Animation.
The course is going to start mid February 2017, the closing date for applications being Friday, February 3rd 2017. The course is a flexible 80% online, 20% face-to-face part-time Higher Diploma ideally suited to those who cannot commit to a full time study programme. The HDipSc in 3D Computer Animation aims to provide students with a strong grounding and transferable skills in Digital Animation Production processes and techniques for 3D Computer Animation. The course is developed to enable learners to become competent in the more artistically – focused disciplines within computer animation and produce graduates with a range and depth of technical and artistic skills necessary to become future Technical Directors. This Higher Diploma has a specific focus on Technical Direction for the computer animation of film, television and gaming. Students will gain vital knowledge of the production pipeline alongside vital programming skills using Python along with software skills in programs such as Maya, Adobe Premiere Pro, PhotoShop and Unreal Engine 4.
