Please note there are some places still available on our Trinity Access Programme for young adults, the entry criteria is the same as for HEAR and students who are eligible for HEAR will automatically be eligible to apply for this programme, which, on successful completion, leads to degree programmes in the Arts and Social Science Faculty in Trinity College. Students not HEAR eligible can apply for our Pre-University Arts programme which has excellent progression rates into Arts degrees in Maynooth, UCD and DCU. In April we will be conducting Maritime Studies Advice Days / Careers Advisory Sessions for CAO Applicants for courses at the National Maritime College of Ireland.These sessions will be held in Galway, Dublin, Wexford and Cork.
Some time ago we wrote to you concerning a maritime event at the National Maritime College of Ireland in Ringaskiddy. We are about to embark upon a series of around Ireland events to inform our CAO applicants of the significant opportunities available within a maritime career. We work very closely with international shipping companies to provide placements on board a variety of ships, at the same time providing educational degrees and professional seagoing qualifications to support progression within the industry. These apprenticeship positions are open to both female and male candidates.
