Hosted by Shauna Fitzsimons the first two events will take place on 8th and 9th December at 6.30pm and will hear from current students and recent graduates who will share their experience of studying at UCD.

UCD’s mini-Gaeltacht, first established in 2000, offers students a unique experience. Students from various subject areas have the opportunity to live and work together as Gaeilge, while further developing their individual talents through a range of social and cultural activities. Gaeltacht UCD offers scholarships to 24 students who are fluent Irish speakers and who have the desire and the ability to initiate projects which promote the use of the language. The application forms for our 2021-22 Irish language residence scheme are available on our website until 6th April. Register Live Q&A with Ad Astra Scholars Wed 20th Jan at 1 PM I am writing to you today regarding UCD’s Ad Astra Academy Scholarship Programme. The closing date for applications to our 2021 Elite Sports and Performing Arts Programme is drawing near (31st January 2021), and there may be exceptional pupils in your school who should apply. Our Academic Programme will open for applications in February 2021. The Academy provides a nurturing infrastructure for students who show exceptional potential in academic pursuits, sports or the performing arts. This includes a bursary, mentoring, workshops with industry experts, a scholars room and innovative supports to allow them to achieve at the very highest levels. I’ve enclosed a booklet with more details and stories from our scholars, as well as the points concessions information for 2021, which is applicable to students applying to the Elite Sports and Performing Arts Programmes of the Academy.
