Accountancy apprenticeship to create 150 jobs150 jobs are to be created though a national accountancy apprenticeship programme which allows applicants to work, earn and learn.
The Accounting Technicians Ireland apprenticeship is a funded, work-based learning programme in which locally-placed apprentices earn at least €19,700 a year.
Applications for the accounting technician apprenticeships, which will be based in Dublin, Cork, Limerick, Monaghan, Galway, Wicklow and Waterford are now open.

Bus Éireann are currently accepting applications for Apprentice Heavy Vehicle Mechanics.
The closing date for applications is 31st March 2020.
Applicants must be at least 16 years of age on or before 1 September 2020 and must meet educational requirements as set out on the official Bus Éireann website.

An Open Night for students interested in applying to Combilift for their Engineering Traineeship will take place on Wednesday 4th March at 7pm in Combilift Global Headquarters, Monaghan.

This traineeship is run in conjunction with Cavan and Monaghan ETB. There are no fees for this course and students may also be entitled to a bursary from Combilift. On successful completion of the course, students may apply for employment in Combilift or for an Apprenticeship or through the CAO for entry to year one of a range of higher certificate and degree programmes at Institutes of Technology and Universities.

The Accounting Technician Apprenticeship which launched in September 2017 is a new pathway to a career in Business, Accountancy and Finance, where apprentices are mentored through a two-year, work-based learning programme. Accounting Technician Apprentices work four days a week with a registered employer and study one day a week with a local college on a two-year employment contract.
We have a dedicated team who deliver insightful school talks and presentations to walk the students through the programme and how they can become a professional accountant with Accounting Technicians Ireland. The Students will with gain another career choice and route to consider as they fill out their CEO.
