The four-year degree programme will be delivered through a partnership of DCU and Technological University of the Shannon (TUS). The first two years of study will take place at the TUS Athlone campus, and the final two years at the DCU Institute of Education in Dublin.
The BEd TEG is accredited by the Teaching Council of Ireland and will qualify you to teach all three of Technology, Engineering, and Design and Communication Graphics subjects at Leaving Certificate level. For further information about the programme please contact Paul Grimes in DCU ([email protected]) or Rónán Dunbar in TUS ([email protected]). A Portfolio Information Day for CAO applicants will take place on Friday 28th January, from 10am – 2pm at the Clare Street campus, Limerick.
This event is designed to give students an opportunity to visit our award winning Art and Design campus at Clare Street in Limerick, and chat with lecturers and students to learn more about our art and design courses and view our superb art and design facilities at first hand. On the day, students will have the opportunity to learn more on how best to prepare a portfolio, what to include in your portfolio, view examples of portfolios, etc. |
