New course in Creative Writing for Digital Media at Coláiste Dhúlaigh College of Further Education.21/3/2018
This course is designed for anyone with an interest in creative writing and storytelling. Students will explore various aspects of writing creatively and will be facilitated in developing both written and digital content for online platforms.The course will focus on developing writing skills for both fiction and scripts as well as creation of promotional digital content for multi platform delivery. Classes will be delivered in a relaxed environment and learners will be given the opportunity to build on existing and/or new story ideas.
The one year QQI level 5 course will encourage students to share and critique ideas in a supportive setting. The skills to create media content to complement written material will be taught, giving students the necessary tools to make self promotional material for digital storytelling. Rather than having a date for the next round of interviews each department in the college will be interviewing every couple of weeks so your students will not have to wait long to get an interview. Interviews will generally take place on a Wednesday afternoon.

Interview Preparation Seminars will be held at 5.00pm, 5.30pm, 6.00pm and 6.30pm to help prepare for our interviews which will be held on Friday January 26th. We will have our own Guidance Counsellor available from 10 - 3 from Wednesday 16th until Tuesday 22nd (excluding 19th & 20th) in our Coolock campus should students need advice about their options available. Applications have re-opened for the majority of our courses and the next round of interviews will be held in April. All course ap plications will close for this round of interviews on Tuesday 31st January at 5pm. Apply Here New Tour Guiding course at Coláiste Dhúlaigh College of Further EducationThis special purpose QQI level 6 award will equip learners with the relevant skills, knowledge and competencies to work effectively as a Tourist Guide. This course will qualify you to register with Failte Ireland as a Tour Guide working for either a Tour Guide Company or on a freelance basis.
