We are hosting a Virtual Information Evening on Wednesday February 3rd from 4-5pm. No registration is required and access will be available through our website from 4pm on February 3rd. This will give prospective students and their parents/guardians the opportunity to ask questions to our teachers, Guidance Counsellors and Learner Support team. We will also have staff in place to take general queries and our VTOS and BTEI co-ordinators will also be available.
Just to update you on new developments in the college for September. We are starting new course in Digital Design, Environmental Science and Social Media Influencer. We have a new link with Trinity College Dublin for our Preliminary Engineering course which will allow our students access to Engineering Degrees in TCD. We continue to offer Pathways to Apprenticeships in Engineering Technology and Hairdressing. We have also started a new National Hairdressing Apprenticeship and our Creative Innovation Hub continues to thrive. Applications for our Top-Up degrees in Animation, Drama, Film and Television Production and Multimedia Journalism are also now open. We are still continuing with virtual school visits. Our virtual Open Day on the 20th of this month will show case the large variety of courses we have in the college, ranging from Business, Tourism, Pre-Nursing (including Children's Nursing), Assistant Occupational Therapy, Social Care/Studies, Psychology, Sports Coaching, Sports Exercise & Science, Furniture/Costume/Are Design, Theatre/Dance Performance, and many more. We have over 35 full-time courses to choose from, all progressing on to Higher Education Institutes in Ireland, United Kingdom and Europe. Most of our courses are QQI level 5 and level 6 and many of our courses are Higher National Diplomas and we have other awarding bodies such as Royal Academy of Dance and Trinity College London.
We are well known for our Erasmus+ program where over 120 students are selected every year (with the exception of the pandemic years) to travel to, live and work in European countries such as Swedan, Spain, France, Holland, Italy, to name a few. We will have 3 Live Chat sessions, 11.00am, 1.00pm and specifically for mature students at 4.00pm, where you are invited to ask questions on any of our courses and services in the college.
